Lorna J. Peck, 87, of Decatur, IL passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 27, 2010) at Gowin Parc, Mattoon, IL.
A service to celebrate Lorna's life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday (Dec. 31, 2010) at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Lorna was born on July 31, 1923 in Forrest, IL, the daughter of Albert and Clara (Murphy) Skow. She was a homemaker. She married Hugh S. Peck on January 13, 1945. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2010.
Surviving are her children: Dana Lercher of Mt. Zion, IL, Dee Anne Rufty and her husband Gary of Moweaqua, IL, Jeff Peck and his wife Cindy of Moweaqua, IL, Lisa Stevens of Mattoon, IL; son-in-law: Bob Keenan of Harristown, IL; grandchildren: Tanya Walker and her husband Stephen, Bryan Keenan and his wife Stephanie, Doug Lercher and his wife Bridgette, Melissa Hughes, Kimberly Mangan and her husband Brian, Matthew Holman, Morgan Rufty, Amanda Peck, Eric Stevens, Mark Stevens and Kristin Stevens; thirteen great grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Janet Keenan, brother: Robert Skow.

To the family of Lorna Peck,
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother, sister and my aunt. I've only recently heard this news. She was a fine lady and I only have the fondest memories of her. If it were not for Lorna my mom and dad would probably heve never met. Thank you Aunt Lorna. Rest in peace.

John 11:32-45
